Catching Your Dreams

Hello Blissful Tribe and welcome back! Today’s blog is about dreams, or shall I say, catching your dreams. Now you may be thinking of the woven circular dream catcher pictured here. But that’s what I am referring to by dream catcher. What I am actually referring to is recording your dreams in a dream journal. Like the one I created titled, It Was All A Dream. One of my dearest friends would often say, dreaming is a form of planning. I’m not sure where she got the saying from, but it resonated with me and I began to journal about my deepest dream. Having a living document of my dreams allowed me to discern my deepest thoughts and intuitions. While there are various reasons to write in a dream journal, the primary purpose is to capture and remember the content of dreams. Dreams are often elusive and quickly forgotten upon waking up, so writing them down helps to retain the memory of the dream, which can also be referred to as catching your dream.
Catching your dreams by writing in a dream journal can help analyze and interpret the dreams, and reveal patterns or recurring themes that can provide insight into your subconscious thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Additionally, some people find that keeping a dream journal can be a creative outlet. Dreams can be a source of inspiration for artists, writers, and other creative individuals.
Overall, dream journals can be a valuable tool for personal growth, self-reflection, creative expression, and well-being.

So now I’d like to hear from you. Do you catch your dreams by recording them in a journal?
